This 2400 square foot single story home is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was purchased with Feng Shui principles in mind.

As you can see, part of the swimming pool is located in the Wealth & Prosperity area. Having the pool in the Wealth & Prosperity area is acceptable and auspicious. Water is a desirable element here. A flip floor plan--with the pool in the Love & Romance area--would not be good Feng Shui. Water puts out fire and fire is the element associated with Love and Romance.

The bagua grid is placed so that the Skills and Knowledge, Career, and Helpful People and Travel areas align with the side of the house containing the main entry. This house is roughly square, so the bagua lays perfectly. If the house were rectangular, the bagua would be stretched to fit roofline to roofline.
